PRIME AE Group has acquired Faller, Davis & Associates, a Florida-based consulting civil engineering firm known for transportation design, operations, planning, and environmental services, in a move intended to strengthen PRIME AE’s presence across the Southeast and broaden infrastructure support for public sector clients throughout Florida. PRIME AE said the transaction will enhance its ability to deliver more comprehensive transportation and environmental solutions while expanding capacity in new geographies across the state.
Faller, Davis & Associates, known as FDA, was founded in Tampa in 1985 and brings regional experience across highway, drainage, and traffic engineering as well as environmental permitting and compliance, wildlife surveys, construction and maintenance management, traffic operations, safety studies, and signal retiming. The firm operates offices in Tampa and Maitland and is led by a team of engineers, scientists, and other professionals focused on quality and responsive client service.
PRIME AE said adding FDA’s service lines will support its strategy of developing regional hubs of excellence that can deliver across the full project lifecycle, including highway widening and signalization, environmental permitting, and operational improvements. In Florida, the company said the acquisition will expand resources for state and municipal agency clients, sustain responsiveness to local needs, and improve collaboration across key corridors, including the Gulf Coast and the I-4 corridor.
The acquisition is PRIME AE’s third in Florida in the past three years. The company’s seventh acquisition overall within the last five years, reflecting continued growth through M&A. PRIME AE is a Platform Holdings-managed company. The firm said the deal supports a broader plan to expand Southeast market share and offer a wider scope of AEC services.
PRIME AE, founded in 2007, operates in 10 states, employs more than 600 people, and maintains 25 offices across the United States. The firm said its teams design, develop, implement, and maintain infrastructure and amenities while focusing on sustainable design and conservation of shared natural resources.
