PrimeSource Brands, a North American provider of specialty branded building products backed by Clearlake Capital Group, announced it has acquired Advantage Industries, a Florida-based maker of gate and fence hardware focused on safety-oriented residential applications.
Financial terms were not disclosed. PrimeSource said the deal is its 10th acquisition since partnering with Clearlake in December 2020 and further strengthens its position in the outdoor living segment.
Advantage, headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida, manufactures gate and fence hardware systems including self-closing hinges, safety latches, pool safety hardware, and related accessories. The company operates through its Safetech Hardware brand and serves residential, commercial, and institutional end markets with products designed to meet safety codes while emphasizing durability and ease of installation.
PrimeSource said Advantage’s patented portfolio complements its existing outdoor living offerings, which include Fortress Railing, RailFX, Ultra-Tec, CityPost, and Keylink, and broadens the combined platform’s capabilities across the fencing and gate hardware category.
PrimeSource Brands’ broader portfolio spans more than 100,000 SKUs across categories that include construction fasteners, knobs and pulls, fencing and railing, and functional hardware. The company said it serves more than 56,000 customer locations through 64 sites across 26 states and two countries.
