Princeton Radiology has acquired two outpatient imaging centers in Hamilton and Lawrenceville, New Jersey, from Radiology Affiliates Imaging (RAI), a Radiology Partners practice, expanding its footprint in the region.

The deal adds two more locations to Princeton Radiology’s network and extends the group’s “Excellence in Imaging” approach across its service area, which includes Central and Northern New Jersey as well as Eastern Pennsylvania. Princeton Radiology said patients and referring physicians should expect continuity of care at both sites, including the same teams and the same convenient locations.

Jonathan Lebowitz, M.D., president of Princeton Radiology, said the acquisition will allow the Hamilton and Lawrenceville communities to access a broader range of imaging services through Princeton Radiology’s broader platform.

Princeton Radiology also said the centers will introduce additional imaging offerings in the near future as they are integrated into the organization. Planned additions include whole-body MRI and expanded, personalized breast screening options such as SmartMamm® and Smart Breast MRI™.

For the coming months, the existing scheduling phone line for the Hamilton and Lawrenceville imaging centers—609.585.8800—will remain active while IT integration work is completed. Princeton Radiology’s primary scheduling line is 609.921.8211.

Princeton Radiology, which has operated for more than 65 years, said it provides sub-specialized radiology services across 13 imaging centers and two hospitals. The group noted that its services are accredited by the American College of Radiology and include modalities such as PET/CT, Quiet MRI, and Extremity MRI.
