Pro-Vision Solutions announced the acquisition of Convoy Technologies, a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based provider of video and vehicle safety technology for commercial fleets. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition expands Pro-Vision Solutions, LLC’s fleet safety platform and broadens its portfolio of commercial vehicle video and monitoring solutions available to fleet operators across North America.
According to the company, Convoy Technologies brings an established network of commercial vehicle customer relationships and industry partnerships, along with specialized capabilities supporting commercial vehicle bodies and equipment applications. The acquisition also expands Pro-Vision’s geographic footprint through Convoy’s operations in Southern Ontario, Canada.
Pro-Vision Solutions, LLC provides mobile video recording systems, collision-avoidance technology, cloud-based video management platforms, and deployment services for organizations operating vehicle fleets in complex operating environments. The company said the addition of Convoy’s products allows fleet operators to deploy more customized safety technology configurations tailored to specific vehicles and operational requirements.
Founded in 2003, Pro-Vision Solutions, LLC serves organizations requiring mission-critical fleet safety and operational monitoring systems. Convoy Technologies develops cameras, monitors, sensors, and recording systems designed to improve driver awareness, reduce blind spots, and help prevent vehicle accidents.
The companies said integration efforts are already underway and customers are expected to experience a seamless transition during the process.
