Procore Acquires Datagrid To Expand Agentic AI And Connect Construction Data Across Platforms

Procore Technologies has acquired Datagrid in a deal aimed at accelerating Procore’s AI roadmap and improving how construction customers connect and use data across disparate systems. Procore said the acquisition strengthens its agentic AI capabilities by adding advanced reasoning and deeper connectivity to third-party data sources such as ERPs and cloud storage tools, allowing customers to reduce data silos and automate complex workflows across their technology stack.

The company positioned the deal as a continuation of the long-term AI strategy it introduced at Groundbreak, its annual flagship event, and said Datagrid’s technology will help turn fragmented project and business data into actionable intelligence. Procore highlighted use cases, including autonomously managing submittal reviews and drafting RFIs across platforms, to increase speed, efficiency, and decision quality for construction teams.

Procore said Datagrid’s offering will be available immediately to both Procore and non-Procore customers. While Procore will continue embedding core AI capabilities within its own platform, Datagrid is expected to support organizations that operate across multiple data sources and require advanced reasoning to unify information, automate intricate tasks, and surface critical insights across the broader ecosystem.

As part of the transaction, Datagrid CEO Thiago da Costa will join Procore to lead AI and data strategy. Procore said the acquisition also complements its broader innovation efforts, pairing recent M&A activity with ongoing internal R&D investments aligned with the company’s mission to improve outcomes for workers and organizations across the construction industry.

Procore completed the acquisition in January 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.
