Procurement Sciences announced the acquisition of HigherGov, expanding its AI-powered government contracting platform and creating what the companies describe as the largest AI-driven growth platform in the sector. The combined company now serves more than 3,000 government contractors, including close to half of the industry’s Top 100 contractors, and has contributed to more than $100 billion in AI-assisted awarded contracts.
The acquisition combines Procurement Sciences’ Awarded AI platform with HigherGov’s government market intelligence and opportunity discovery capabilities. Awarded AI is a FedRAMP-authorized platform designed for capture, business development, proposal drafting, pricing, and compliance workflows for government contractors. HigherGov provides data mapping and intelligence across federal, state, local, and grant markets.
According to the companies, HigherGov will continue to operate as a standalone product for existing users, with no immediate changes to customer access or usage. Customers will eventually be able to integrate HigherGov’s market intelligence directly into Awarded AI workflows for capture, proposal development, and pricing activities.
The combined platform brings together federal opportunity and forecast tracking, state and local bid data, grants, recompetes, contract vehicles, task orders, awarded contracts, competitor analysis, teaming partner insights, expert networks, and labor pricing benchmarks. Procurement Sciences said Awarded AI adds AI agents and workflows for opportunity qualification, capture strategy, proposal drafting, compliance review, pricing, and proposal evaluation within a FedRAMP Moderate Authorized and SOC 2 Type 2 certified environment.
The companies said integration efforts are expected to begin rolling out in the weeks following the announcement, enabling AI agents to pull HigherGov market intelligence directly into capture, proposal, and pricing workflows.
Procurement Sciences noted that the combined platform is designed to support the full lifecycle of government contracting, from opportunity discovery through proposal submission and win analysis.
KEY QUOTE:
“Data is the new oil, but in government contracting, the real advantage is turning opportunity, award, agency, competitor, teaming, and pricing intelligence into action. With HigherGov, we now have one of the most extensive government contracting data layers in the market across federal, state and local, grant, and historical award data. Paired with Awarded AI’s business-specific agents purpose-built to find, win, and deliver government contracts, that data becomes actionable for the workflows contractors use every day. That combination did not exist before today.”
