Prometheus Group, an enterprise asset management (EAM) software provider, has acquired Webalo, an AI-enabled connected worker platform, in a deal aimed at closing the gap between frontline activity and enterprise execution.
The companies said the combination will create a “closed-loop” digital execution platform that connects plant-floor work directly to planning, execution, compliance, and enterprise decision-making. Prometheus Group’s platform is designed to turn frontline inputs into prioritized actions, planned work, and broader operational insight, while Webalo serves as a digital data-capture layer that replaces paper-based inspections and operator rounds with AI-enabled workflows.
Prometheus Group said industrial teams still rely heavily on paper and spreadsheets for inspections and operator rounds, leading to delayed and disconnected data, manual re-entry, and limited visibility as operational complexity and data volumes grow. The combined platform is intended to capture data at the point of work, route issues into digital workflows, and provide real-time visibility into performance, compliance, and risk—helping detect problems faster and respond more quickly before they escalate into downtime, safety incidents, or compliance issues.
Under the envisioned workflow, frontline teams record what is happening as it happens, information flows automatically into Prometheus Group for decisioning and prioritization, and work is executed through the system of record. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Prometheus Group said it provides an AI-enhanced, integrated EAM platform that integrates with ERP systems, while Webalo said its software digitizes frontline tasks at enterprise scale and integrates with enterprise and industrial software systems.
