Prophet Security, a provider of Agentic AI solutions for security operations, announced strategic investments from Amex Ventures and Citi Ventures to accelerate adoption of its Agentic AI SOC Platform. The funding is aimed at helping security operations center teams respond to threats faster and with greater accuracy as cyberattacks grow in speed and complexity.
The company’s Agentic AI SOC Platform works alongside security analysts to automate manual and time-sensitive workflows across investigations, threat hunting, detection engineering, and incident response. Prophet Security said its platform is being used by Fortune 500 companies and enterprises across financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, high tech, and media.
According to the company, organizations using the platform have achieved measurable outcomes, including zero minutes of alert dwell time, a four-minute mean time to respond, a 98.5% reduction in false positives when used alongside existing security tools compared to relying on those tools alone, and a 10x increase in team productivity.
The announcement comes as research firms highlight the growing role of AI-driven automation in security operations. Gartner has noted increasing adoption of AI SOC agent technologies to address scaling challenges in security operations and has projected that by 2027, 25% of common SOC tasks will become 50% more cost efficient due to automation enhancements and hyper scaling strategies.
Prophet Security said the new capital will support its mission to act as a force multiplier for security teams, enabling them to defend against rapidly evolving threats and manage growing volumes of alerts and data. The company is backed by Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Amex Ventures, and Citi Ventures.
