Prospanica, the Association of Hispanic MBAs and Business Professionals, has completed its acquisition of Techqueria, a nonprofit organization supporting Latiné professionals in technology. The combination brings together Prospanica’s more than 50 chapters nationwide with Techqueria’s community of over 20,000 members across 48 states and 84 countries, creating an expanded professional network spanning business, technology, entrepreneurship, and executive leadership. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition combines two organizations focused on professional development, career advancement, mentorship, and opportunities for Hispanic and Latino professionals.
Founded in 1988, Prospanica provides scholarships, leadership programs, networking opportunities, and professional development resources through its national chapter network.
Techqueria has built a technology-focused community that connects Latiné professionals through mentorship, networking, advocacy, and community-building initiatives. Its network includes more than 20,000 members and 10 chapters, with members distributed across the United States and international markets.
The combination is intended to connect Prospanica’s established business and MBA network with Techqueria’s community of technology professionals.
This expanded network will offer members opportunities to build relationships across disciplines and pursue career development pathways involving business leadership, technology, startups, venture capital, and corporate management.
For employers, the acquisition creates a unified channel for engaging professionals across a broader range of industries and career levels.
Corporate partners will be able to connect with talent spanning software engineering, technology management, business administration, and executive leadership through the combined organizations.
