Puget Collision announced the acquisition of a six-location Fix Auto USA franchise group operated by Richard Fish across San Diego and Orange Counties, California. The transaction expands Puget Collision’s footprint to 72 collision repair locations across the United States and strengthens its presence in key Southern California markets.

The company’s acquisition strategy is supported by Atlanta-based private equity firm Eagle Merchant Partners. The newly acquired repair centers bring established Direct Repair Program relationships, strong insurance carrier performance metrics, and multiple OEM certifications, adding to Puget Collision’s growing platform.

Founded in 2022, Puget Collision operates collision repair centers within the CARSTAR and Fix Auto franchise systems. Since receiving Eagle Merchant Partners’ investment, the company has expanded through a series of acquisitions focused on high-performing collision repair operators that emphasize customer service, technician development, OEM certifications, and insurance carrier partnerships.

The acquisition also increases Puget Collision’s density in two of the largest collision repair markets in the United States. The company said it remains focused on pursuing additional acquisition opportunities across the region and nationwide.

The broader collision repair industry continues to benefit from favorable market conditions, including an aging vehicle fleet, increased vehicle miles traveled, and growing demand for vehicle maintenance and repair services as consumers keep their vehicles longer. Industry forecasts project continued growth in the U.S. automotive service market over the coming years.

Puget Collision said it will continue seeking add-on acquisitions of multi-location collision repair operators with strong operating histories and established market positions.
