Pure Storage Rebrands To Everpure And Announces Intent To Acquire 1touch

Pure Storage, the storage and data management company, announced it is changing its name to Everpure as it expands its focus from all-flash storage to broader data management for the AI era. The company also entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 1touch, a data intelligence and orchestration innovator that delivers a unified view of enterprise information across environments.

The rebrand reflects the company’s evolution from reshaping storage to defining the future of data management. Everpure said its new identity aligns with its Enterprise Data Cloud architecture and the adaptability of its Evergreen model, positioning the company to help enterprises unlock the full value of their data.

As AI becomes central to business operations, enterprises are encountering infrastructure limitations tied to siloed data, manual processes, and rigid architectures. Everpure said its Enterprise Data Cloud architecture, powered by the Everpure Platform, addresses these challenges by transforming storage into a unified, virtualized cloud of data governed by an intelligent control plane. The platform manages datasets globally through policy-based controls, reducing reliance on manual configuration and increasing agility and efficiency.

Through the planned acquisition of 1touch, Everpure aims to extend its data management roadmap by adding data discovery and semantic context capabilities to its platform. By integrating storage with 1touch’s ability to discover, classify, contextualize, and enrich data across SaaS, edge, and on-premises environments, Everpure said enterprise data will become AI-ready at the source. The combined capabilities are designed to help organizations convert raw data into actionable insights more quickly and reliably.

Pure Storage will begin trading as Everpure on the New York Stock Exchange on March 5, 2026. The ticker symbol, PSTG, will remain unchanged. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the second quarter of fiscal year 2027. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company emphasized that the announcement includes forward-looking statements regarding its technology, strategy, and the anticipated effects and timing of the pending acquisition, noting that actual results could differ materially due to risks and uncertainties outlined in its SEC filings.
