PureSpectrum, a market research technology company, said it has entered into a strategic partnership with TA Associates to support continued innovation, platform scaling, and expanded value for customers across the market research ecosystem. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2016, PureSpectrum operates a programmatic marketplace and sample management platform that connects market research firms, brands, and institutions with a global network of survey respondents. The company said its PureSpectrum Marketplace combines automation, dynamic allocation, and PureScore, an AI-driven quality scoring system, to deliver faster access to higher-quality respondent samples and more reliable human insights.
PureSpectrum founder and CEO Michael McCrary and the broader leadership team will remain meaningful shareholders and continue to run the business in partnership with TA. The company said it will continue investing in its product roadmap with a focus on innovation and scalability, aiming to address industry needs such as automation and AI-enabled workflows alongside growing requirements for response validation and data quality.
Piper Sandler served as exclusive financial advisor to PureSpectrum and Cooley served as legal counsel. TA was advised by Deloitte as financial advisor and Goodwin Procter as legal counsel, with Payne Enterprises also advising TA.
