PwC and Zyter have formed a collaboration to help healthcare payers and providers improve health outcomes, reduce avoidable medical expenses and modernize the delivery of clinical and administrative services.
The collaboration combines PwC’s healthcare transformation, analytics, operations and program execution experience with Zyter|TruCare’s Vertical AI Execution Platform, agentic AI orchestration technology and clinical services.
Together, the companies will help healthcare organizations redesign workflows across utilization management, care management, appeals and grievances, and other clinical operations.
The initiative is intended to move clients beyond basic technology modernization by embedding governed AI into healthcare processes and tying transformation programs to measurable operational and clinical outcomes.
Healthcare organizations face rising medical expenses, administrative complexity, staffing constraints and fragmented data across multiple systems.
PwC and Zyter plan to help clients assess their current operating environments, establish outcome-based transformation roadmaps and deploy AI-enabled workflows across clinical and administrative functions.
The companies will support these programs with modular architecture, API-based integrations, healthcare interoperability, governance, auditability and operational controls.
PwC will provide transformation strategy, implementation, change management and program execution services.
Zyter will contribute its software platform, clinical teams and AI orchestration capabilities through Zyter Symphony.
The platform is designed to automate high-volume work, coordinate tasks across healthcare systems and care teams, and enforce clinical and policy guidance within operational workflows.
Potential applications include automating repetitive administrative processes, improving care coordination, strengthening member engagement and making it easier for healthcare providers to navigate payer requirements.
The companies also expect the collaboration to help clients reduce the cost of individual transactions across utilization management, care management and related administrative operations.
Zyter’s platform currently supports more than 44 million covered lives across over 45 health plans.
The company provides care management, utilization review and clinical operations technology that is NCQA pre-certified, HITRUST certified and compliant with SOC 2 requirements.
PwC’s healthcare practice works with organizations across the health ecosystem, including health plans, healthcare providers, pharmacy benefit managers, pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology businesses and medical device manufacturers.
The collaboration is focused on helping healthcare organizations shift from fragmented processes toward coordinated, outcome-driven care delivery.
