Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Communication Systems International, also known as CSI, in a move that expands its service capabilities across Texas.

Based in San Antonio and founded in 1996, CSI provides integrated fire alarm and security solutions, including video surveillance, monitoring, access control, and communications systems. The company serves commercial, industrial, and residential customers, delivering end-to-end system design, installation, testing, and maintenance.

The acquisition strengthens Pye-Barker’s presence in the Texas market, particularly in San Antonio, while enhancing its ability to deliver comprehensive life safety and security services. CSI’s team will continue serving customers as part of the broader Pye-Barker organization.

Pye-Barker, headquartered in Atlanta, is one of the largest fully integrated fire protection and life safety providers in the United States, with more than 250 locations and approximately 9,000 employees nationwide. The company has been actively expanding through acquisitions as part of its growth strategy.

Advisors on the transaction included Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP representing Pye-Barker, while CSI was represented by the Law Offices of Marc P. Katz, LLC and Tim Shiner with Sell Alarm Company.
