Pye-Barker Fire & Safety Acquires Fire Protection Specialists To Expand Suppression Services

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety announced the acquisition of Fire Protection Specialists, enhancing its fire suppression capabilities and expanding its integrated life safety offerings across the Pacific Northwest. The transaction strengthens Pye-Barker’s presence in the region by complementing its existing fire alarm and security services.

Founded in 1999, Fire Protection Specialists provides installation and maintenance services for fire suppression and fire alarm systems throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and California. The company serves commercial and industrial customers across sectors, including education, utilities, government, and healthcare. Its offerings include system monitoring, inspections and testing, fire extinguisher services, and specialized suppression systems for data centers, equipment vaults, MRI and CAT scan rooms, commercial kitchens, and heavy mobile equipment.

Pye-Barker said the acquisition will enable it to deliver broader integrated fire protection solutions to customers in the Northwest. The technicians and employees of Fire Protection Specialists will continue serving customers in the region following the transaction. Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough represented Pye-Barker in the deal.

Based in the United States, Pye-Barker Fire & Safety operates more than 250 locations with approximately 9,000 employees and provides fully integrated fire protection and security systems nationwide.
