Qnity Names Ken Rizvi CFO As Semiconductor Veteran Brings 25+ Years Of Finance Experience

Qnity Electronics has appointed Ken Rizvi as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1, adding a semiconductor finance veteran with more than 25 years of experience as the company expands across AI, high-performance computing and advanced connectivity markets.

Rizvi will succeed Michael Goss, who has been serving as interim CFO.  And Goss will transition to Vice President of Finance and Controllership when Rizvi assumes the CFO role.

Rizvi brings extensive experience leading finance organizations across the semiconductor ecosystem, including public-company CFO positions and senior roles spanning semiconductor design, manufacturing, memory, packaging and supply-chain businesses.

He most recently served as CFO of Synaptics, where he oversaw global finance, corporate development, investor relations and information technology.

Before Synaptics, Rizvi served as CFO of Smart Global Holdings, now known as Penguin Solutions.

During that tenure, Qnity said Rizvi helped drive meaningful margin expansion and oversaw the execution of two transformational transactions.

His earlier experience includes serving as CFO of UTAC Group in Singapore and Isola Group.

Rizvi also held increasingly senior finance positions at Micron Technology and ON Semiconductor.

The breadth of those roles gives him experience across several layers of the semiconductor value chain, which aligns with Qnity’s positioning as a technology and materials provider serving semiconductor manufacturing and complex electronic systems.

Qnity provides technology used across the semiconductor value chain, including materials and integration capabilities that support chip manufacturing and high-speed data transmission.

The company is targeting demand associated with AI, high-performance computing and advanced connectivity, areas that increasingly require more sophisticated semiconductor materials and integration technologies.

Qnity CEO Jon Kemp highlighted Rizvi’s experience with capital allocation, operational execution and financial discipline as important capabilities for the company’s next phase of growth.

The appointment also gives Qnity a CFO with experience managing public-company finance functions alongside corporate development and strategic transactions.

Rizvi said his semiconductor background has given him firsthand exposure to the role materials innovation plays in enabling each successive generation of computing technology.

As CFO, he will work with Kemp and Qnity’s leadership team on financial strategy, capital allocation and value creation as the company pursues growth opportunities across semiconductor and advanced electronics markets.
