Qualcomm and HUMAIN announced a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on next-generation AI data centers, cloud-to-edge infrastructure, and hybrid AI services in Saudi Arabia and global markets. The agreement was signed during the Saudi-US Investment Forum in Riyadh during the visit of U.S. President Donald Trump to Saudi Arabia.

Under the agreement, Qualcomm Technologies and HUMAIN plan to develop advanced AI data centers in Saudi Arabia designed to provide scalable and power-efficient cloud-to-edge AI inferencing solutions. The collaboration will also focus on the development and supply of Qualcomm Technologies’ AI and CPU solutions for use in HUMAIN’s AI cloud infrastructure.

The companies said the initiative is intended to support growing global demand for AI services while enabling government and enterprise organizations to access high-performance AI cloud infrastructure and AI-enabled applications capable of real-time decision-making and predictions.

As part of the collaboration, Qualcomm Technologies’ Snapdragon and Dragonwing processors will be used to help accelerate adoption of HUMAIN’s AI cloud infrastructure through edge devices. The companies also plan to integrate HUMAIN’s Arabic large language models, including ALLaM, into Qualcomm-powered AI edge devices to enable hybrid cloud-to-edge AI inferencing capabilities across a wide range of products and services.

The agreement also includes a collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to establish a Qualcomm Design Center in Saudi Arabia focused on semiconductor technology. The initiative will include training and startup programs designed to strengthen the Kingdom’s semiconductor ecosystem and help develop local engineering talent as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy.

Qualcomm said the design center initiative is intended to help position Saudi Arabia as a global hub for semiconductor design while supporting economic growth and workforce development in advanced technologies.
