Qualcomm Technologies introduced the Snapdragon X2 Plus platform at CES 2026, expanding its Snapdragon X Series lineup and broadening access to Windows 11 Copilot+ PCs aimed at modern professionals, aspiring creators and everyday users seeking portable designs, fast performance, built-in AI features and multi-day battery life.
Snapdragon X2 Plus is built on the 3rd Gen Qualcomm Oryon CPU and pairs it with an integrated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU delivering 80 TOPS of AI performance, targeting next-generation on-device AI and “agentic” experiences alongside everyday multitasking such as data-heavy work, creative applications and video conferencing. Qualcomm said the new CPU delivers up to 35% faster single-core performance versus the previous generation while using 43% less power.
The platform also includes connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G, and incorporates Snapdragon Guardian security capabilities. Qualcomm said select devices from leading OEM partners are expected to be available for purchase in the first half of 2026, continuing to grow the Windows 11 Copilot+ PC ecosystem supported by Snapdragon X Series chips.
