Quantizr Raises $5 Million In Seed Funding As AI Tour Finance Platform Quadruples Users In 9 Months

Quantizr has raised $5 million in seed financing to expand its AI-powered financial operations platform for the live entertainment industry as the company seeks to help artist teams manage tour budgets, expenses and settlements in real time. The round was led by TTV Capital, an early investor in Bill.com and Greenlight, with participation from music industry veterans Jonathan Azu, founder of Culture Collective; Chris Kappy, founder of Make Wake Artists; and Andy Levine, founder of Sixthman and Topeka.

Quantizr plans to use the capital to expand the financial infrastructure underlying its platform and bring its technology to more artist managers, business managers and other professionals responsible for the financial operations of live tours.

The company is targeting a workflow that still relies heavily on PDFs, spreadsheets, email threads and manually entered financial information.

Artist managers and business managers can spend substantial amounts of time extracting information from show offers, contracts, tour budgets, expense reports and settlement statements.

That fragmentation can make it difficult for teams to maintain a real-time understanding of tour profitability, commissions, expenses and the amount ultimately flowing to an artist while a tour is still underway.

Quantizr uses AI to extract financial information from business documents and organize it into a structured workflow.

Rather than rebuilding information manually across multiple spreadsheets, users can create financial projections, manage budgets, track expenses, review settlements and evaluate how individual decisions affect the artist’s financial results.

The company recently expanded the platform with Quantizr Tour Financials, or QTF, which provides artist managers and their teams with a real-time view of tour financials.

Quantizr’s approach to AI is focused on automating administrative and financial work rather than replacing artists, songwriters, producers or other creative professionals.

The company sees an opportunity to use AI to reduce repetitive work around tour economics so management teams can devote more time to strategy, artist development and the other human elements of building an entertainment business.

Quantizr has grown quickly since launching nine months ago. The company said it has quadrupled its user base during that period and signed large enterprise contracts with prominent entertainment industry firms.

The platform was founded by Joshua Litwack, CFA, whose background spans financial technology, investment analytics and enterprise software.

Litwack previously worked in portfolio and risk analytics at Bloomberg before serving as a director at BlackRock.

He also founded Paragon Data Labs, which grew from startup to an acquisition by publicly traded Intapp within three years.

TTV Capital believes that combination of music industry knowledge and experience building financial systems positions Quantizr to modernize a part of live entertainment that continues to depend on fragmented and manual processes.

The company is also offering artist managers and their teams a free three-month trial of its tour financial platform as it works to broaden adoption.

KEY QUOTES:

“AI should not replace the people who create music or build careers. It should remove the repetitive work that takes time away from the creative processes that drive artist success. Our goal is to give teams a clearer view of the money behind a tour so they can protect margins, make smarter calls, and spend more time on the human work that moves an artist’s business forward.”

Joshua Litwack, CFA, Founder And CEO Of Quantizr

“Quantizr is bringing operational efficiency and financial clarity to live entertainment, an industry that has long relied on opaque spreadsheets, emails, and documents to calculate financial projections. Josh’s background in the music industry and financial systems makes him uniquely qualified to build and scale this business. We believe Quantizr has the potential to transform financial operations in live entertainment, making it possible for managers to run more profitable tours and meaningful fan experiences.”
