Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan has added Catie Ventura as a partner in its Washington, D.C., office, expanding the firm’s antitrust litigation and investigations capabilities.
Ventura focuses on civil antitrust defense litigation and government investigations, with experience litigating matters involving novel and developing areas of antitrust law.
Her experience includes successfully defending a healthcare company in the first criminal no-poach case filed by the Department of Justice. She also advised an engineering company in another criminal no-poach matter that was dismissed on a motion for directed verdict.
Ventura recently secured dismissal for a nuclear power generation company in civil litigation involving alleged wage-fixing and represented a major wine and spirits distributor in a monopolization matter that was resolved favorably for the client.
She joins Quinn Emanuel from Kirkland & Ellis, where she was a partner. The Legal 500 recognized Ventura for Antitrust: Civil Litigation/Class Actions: Defense for 2025-2026.
