Quorum has appointed Bob Ghafouri to its Board of Directors as the AI-powered public affairs software company accelerates development of agentic AI capabilities for government affairs teams. Ghafouri brings more than 25 years of experience developing and scaling digital and AI businesses.
Most recently, he co-founded and led A&MPLIFY, Alvarez & Marsal’s AI-focused agency for incubating and launching digital businesses, platforms and products. Before that, Ghafouri served as Chief Commercial Officer of Red Ventures, where he helped design and launch an AI-enabled digital commerce and content platform.
Earlier in his career, Ghafouri spent more than a decade at Accenture as a Senior Managing Director. He was a founding member of Accenture Interactive and co-founded Bloom, the company’s global digital-transformation strategy practice. He was also an early employee of MicroStrategy and has founded businesses spanning government, retail, and real estate.
Quorum provides an integrated platform used by more than 2,000 organizations, including more than half of Fortune 100 companies.
Its software brings together legislative and regulatory tracking, stakeholder engagement, grassroots advocacy, PAC management and AI-powered policy intelligence. Quorum’s Quincy AI product is designed to analyze policy information, surface insights and assist with public-affairs workflows.
The company sees agentic AI as the next phase of that strategy. Rather than limiting AI to summarizing legislation or answering questions, agent-based systems can potentially carry out multi-step workflows across research, monitoring, stakeholder management and communications.
Ghafouri’s operating background in AI businesses is intended to support Quorum as it expands those capabilities at scale.
