Rabot Energy has raised €50 million in Series B funding to expand its dynamic electricity tariff business and develop a virtual power plant platform that connects household batteries and other flexible energy devices. The round was led by Endeit and the DeepTech & Climate Fund. Existing investors HV Capital, High-Tech Gründerfonds, Bosch Ventures, CNI, Acurio Ventures, and vent.io also participated.
Rabot Energy plans to use the funding to pursue its goal of reaching one million customers, further develop its proprietary technology platform, and connect more energy devices including battery storage systems, electric vehicle wallboxes, and heat pumps.
A central part of the company’s strategy involves aggregating battery systems installed in individual homes into a virtual power plant. The network is designed to charge batteries when renewable electricity is abundant and less expensive and discharge them when electricity becomes scarcer, helping balance the grid while potentially lowering consumer energy costs.
Rabot Energy launched Rabot Flow in June 2026, combining a dynamic electricity tariff, smart meter, and plug-and-play battery storage system. The company said the product can reduce energy costs for an average household by approximately 15%. It does not require homeowners to have their own solar panels and can also be used in rented apartments.
The company sees flexible household electricity consumption as increasingly important as electric vehicles, heat pumps, renewable generation, and energy storage become more widely deployed. By coordinating when households consume or store electricity, Rabot Energy aims to reduce dependence on fossil-fuel generation during periods of peak demand and make greater use of renewable electricity.
Rabot Energy has grown to more than 200,000 customers within three and a half years, including approximately 15,000 business and industrial customers, and has increased revenue to €200 million. The company currently supplies more than 600 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity to its customer base.
According to Rabot Energy, customers had collectively saved approximately €45 million by 2025 compared with their respective default electricity supplier prices. The company now plans to expand its offering across residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Germany while transforming its dynamic tariff business into a broader networked energy platform.
