Ralliant Corporation announced that its Pacific Scientific Energetics Materials Company (PacSci EMC) business received a $27.3 million investment from the Department of War through Defense Production Act Title III funding to expand production of the universal Arm Fire Device (AFD), a critical safety component used in solid rocket motor applications.

The funding will support PacSci EMC’s efforts to scale production capabilities for high-volume manufacturing programs tied to solid rocket motors, helping meet growing defense and aerospace demand.

According to the company, the investment will also help modernize manufacturing operations and improve production efficiency. The funding is part of a broader series of Defense Production Act Title III investments aimed at strengthening the solid rocket motor supply chain, increasing capacity, and reducing lead times for critical components.

Ralliant said the funding complements the company’s own organic investments into PacSci EMC to increase manufacturing capacity and support expanding defense and space sector demand.

Ralliant is a global precision technologies company focused on designing, manufacturing, and servicing precision instruments and engineered products. The company operates through two primary segments, Test & Measurement and Sensors & Safety Systems. Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, Ralliant employs approximately 7,000 people worldwide.

KEY QUOTES:
