Raven Capital has appointed Thad Sharrett as Senior Managing Director, adding a credit markets executive with more than 30 years of experience to its asset-based private credit platform.
Sharrett will focus on transaction sourcing and structuring as well as new business development.
He joins Raven after more than 25 years at Wells Fargo, where he held senior roles across credit markets and institutional investor coverage.
Most recently, Sharrett served as Head of Credit Sales and Trading and Managing Director in the Markets division of Wells Fargo’s Corporate and Investment Bank.
He previously served as Head of High-Yield Sales, managing relationships with some of Wells Fargo’s largest institutional clients.
Sharrett’s experience spans high-yield corporate bonds, leveraged loans, distressed credit, credit derivatives and related markets.
Raven specializes primarily in asset-based, non-sponsor private credit and originates and structures senior secured loans for middle-market borrowers.
The firm focuses particularly on complex asset-based lending opportunities.
Since its founding in 2008, Raven has deployed more than $3.4 billion across its lending investments.
Its investor base includes public and private pension funds, endowments, foundations and other institutional investors. Raven also manages a strategy focused on acquiring and managing cash-flowing music intellectual property.
