Raymond James announced that Financial Strategies Retirement Partners (FSRP), a Bedford, New Hampshire-based advisory firm overseeing $2.8 billion in client assets, has joined Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS), the firm’s independent advisor channel.
The move brings a 24-person team to Raymond James, including 12 financial advisors and 12 branch service professionals. FSRP is led by CEO and Managing Partner Shawn Monty, alongside partners Al Gilbert and Sarah Kenda.
Prior to joining Raymond James, the team was affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network and collectively oversaw $2.8 billion in client assets, including $1 billion in private wealth assets under management and $1.8 billion in employer-sponsored retirement plan assets under advisement. The firm provides financial planning services to business owners and families while also offering fiduciary guidance for employer-sponsored retirement plans.
Monty began his career in financial services in 1985 and spent 31 years with his previous firm before making the transition to Raymond James. He has been recognized by Forbes as one of New Hampshire’s Best-in-State Wealth Advisors for four consecutive years through 2026 and was named a Five Star Wealth Manager from 2012 through 2025. He holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, Certified 401(k) Professional™ and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designations.
Gilbert brings more than three decades of experience to the industry and co-founded FSRP with Monty in 2007. He holds the Certified 401(k) Professional™ and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designations and was recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager from 2013 through 2025.
Kenda joined FSRP as a partner in 2018 and has 25 years of industry experience. She holds Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Retirement Income Certified Professional® designations and was named a Five Star Wealth Manager from 2020 through 2025.
According to Raymond James, the addition of FSRP further expands its independent advisor network and strengthens its presence in the Northeast region.
