Raymond James Onboards $200 Million Father-Son Advisor Team

Dominic Prioli, Upper Midwest regional director of Raymond James & Associates (RJA), announced it recently welcomed financial advisors Thomas Grobbel and John Grobbel to RJA in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

Operating as Grobbel Wealth Management Group of Raymond James, the advisors join RJA’s Bloomfield Hills branch, led by Richard O’Connell. The branch serves business owners, families, individuals, pre-retirees, retirees, and sudden wealth clients. The team arrives from Wells Fargo Advisors, where it managed approximately $200 million in client assets.

Thomas (father to John) brings over 41 years of financial services industry experience as senior vice president of wealth management and holds an undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University. And his career started in 1984, most recently serving at Wells Fargo Advisors for eight years.

John earned an undergraduate degree in finance from Michigan State University. He brings over 14 years of financial services industry experience to his role as vice president of wealth management. He began his career in 2010 at J.P. Morgan before transitioning to Wells Fargo Advisors, where he served for eight years.
