RB Global said the acquisition strengthens its position in agricultural equipment and real estate transactions while adding specialized expertise and relationships across rural communities in the United States. The company noted that BigIron’s established presence in agriculture complements RB Global’s broader marketplace and transaction capabilities.
Founded in the early 1980s, BigIron built its business around a transparent, unreserved auction model focused on agricultural equipment, real estate, and related assets. The company developed strong relationships with farmers, landowners, and rural enterprises throughout the U.S.
