RBC BlueBay Names Hayley Lai Director Of Marketing For Asia-Pacific

RBC BlueBay Asset Management appointed Hayley Lai to the newly created role of Director of Marketing for Asia-Pacific.

Lai is based in Hong Kong and will report to Jayne Fieldhouse, Managing Director and Head of Global Institutional Marketing.

She will lead marketing efforts across Asia-Pacific for RBC’s asset management business as the firm continues expanding across the region.

Lai brings more than 13 years of marketing and communications experience in the asset management industry.

She joins RBC BlueBay from PineBridge Investments, now part of MetLife Investment Management, where she led integrated marketing programs across key Asia-Pacific markets.

Her responsibilities there included brand campaigns, content strategy, digital marketing, public relations, events, and product marketing.

Before PineBridge, Lai spent nearly six years at AXA Investment Managers, which was subsequently acquired by BNP Paribas Asset Management.

At AXA Investment Managers, she led regional marketing and communications initiatives across Asia-Pacific.

RBC BlueBay said the appointment supports its broader “Drive2029” growth ambitions in the region and will help strengthen client engagement and brand presence across Asia-Pacific.

RBC BlueBay Asset Management represents RBC Global Asset Management outside North America and invests across equities, fixed income, and alternatives.
