RBC Clearing & Custody has appointed Larry Agin as Business Development Manager as the company expands its business development organization supporting independent broker-dealers and registered investment advisors.
Agin brings more than 25 years of financial services experience, including senior positions at Pershing and Apex Fintech Solutions. His background includes wealth solutions, securities operations, trading and client relationship management.
RBC said the appointment supports continued growth in its clearing and custody business, which provides technology, execution, custody and service capabilities to independent financial firms.
The company identified technology, proactive service, financial strength and its broader solutions platform as key areas of focus as it competes for broker-dealer and RIA relationships.
RBC Clearing & Custody is a division of RBC Capital Markets and provides clearing, custody and execution services to independent broker-dealers and RIAs.
The business traces its involvement in the U.S. brokerage industry to 1909 and its clearing and custody operations to 1979.
