Reach Security has raised more than $50 million in Series B funding to accelerate product innovation, expand integration partnerships, support international growth, and continue scaling across U.S. enterprise and federal markets. The round was led by Top Tier Capital Partners, with participation from Ballistic Ventures, In-Q-Tel, M12, Microsoft’s venture fund, and existing investors.
Alongside the funding announcement, Reach launched Reach Everywhere, an initiative designed to make its security control intelligence available across the platforms, workflows, and AI systems where enterprise security decisions are made.
Reach Security provides AI-powered technology that analyzes the live configuration of security products an enterprise already owns. The platform determines whether an exploit path is blocked or remains reachable and identifies the specific security rule responsible for that outcome. When protection changes or becomes ineffective, Reach can automatically remediate the issue.
The company is positioning the technology as a way for security teams to operate at machine speed as attackers increasingly use artificial intelligence to discover and exploit weaknesses.
According to data cited by Reach from VulnCheck’s State of Exploitation 1H-2026 report, fewer than 1.3% of vulnerabilities are exploited in the wild. However, Reach says the growing challenge is the speed at which attackers can identify and exploit vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. CrowdStrike’s 2026 Global Threat Report, also cited by Reach, found that AI-enabled adversary operations increased 89% and attacker breakout times have fallen to as little as 27 seconds.
Reach uses AI to prioritize exposures and misconfigurations based on whether they are actually reachable and whether an organization’s existing security controls already mitigate them. This approach is intended to reduce unnecessary work for security operations teams while directing attention toward vulnerabilities that remain exploitable.
The platform can also autonomously review and tune security controls as attack volume increases. If an adversary, or an AI agent being used internally to test an organization’s environment, finds an entry point, Reach can configure existing security defenses to close that attack path.
Reach has doubled its customer base during the past 12 months. Customers include Autodesk, Insurity, MPS, and Ensemble Health Partners.
Reach Everywhere extends the company’s security control insights beyond the primary Reach platform through its API, Model Context Protocol server, and a growing network of technology integrations.
The approach is designed around the reality that enterprise security work occurs across multiple systems, including exposure management programs, security operations centers, incident response workflows, compliance platforms, and emerging AI-powered security environments.
Reach Everywhere can, for example, reorder an existing vulnerability backlog based on which exposures are actually reachable without requiring security teams to move into another application.
The technology is also designed to help organizations address vulnerabilities that cannot immediately be patched. Reach identifies and validates compensating controls that can block the attack paths associated with those vulnerabilities and continuously monitors whether those controls remain deployed, current, correctly positioned, and actively enforcing policy.
Where remediation can safely be automated, Reach can push changes through platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira, or through its own staged automation. Changes can be validated in a controlled environment before taking effect.
An independent ROI analysis conducted by TAG Infosphere found that organizations using Reach saved more than 160 hours per week across security control review, posture assessment, and incident investigation. The analysis also calculated a 156% return on investment.
Reach is also extending its control intelligence into AI-driven security operations. Through the company’s API and AI-powered MCP server, AI systems can access continuously validated information about the health of an organization’s security controls rather than relying on static inventories, exports, or inferred information.
The company says this enables both human analysts and AI agents to work from consistent information about whether security protections are actually functioning as intended.
The new funding will support further development of these capabilities, expansion of Reach’s integration ecosystem, international growth, and continued penetration of enterprise and government security markets.
KEY QUOTES:
“What is old is new again in security. AI has given attackers better economics and a lower barrier to entry, but it has also given defenders a chance to use their home field advantage more than ever. Defending at enterprise scale requires an accurate understanding of what your defenses are actually doing. You can’t afford to get that wrong. That’s why a source of truth for your security controls matters so much: which ones are reducing exposure, which ones are falling short, and which ones can do more. That clarity is valuable to customers and to our joint integration partners.”
Garrett Hamilton, CEO and Co-Founder of Reach Security
“Trust is built on evidence, not assumptions. With AI accelerating attack and defense alike, we need continuous proof that our controls are doing their job. Reach is our source of truth. Our team gets its time back by working only on the exposures our controls aren’t already covering. If an attacker gets in, we can close the path they used with defenses we already own. And because Reach uses AI to continuously review and tune every control, we keep pace with rising attack volume without adding headcount.”
Sebastian Goodwin, Chief Trust Officer at Autodesk
“A compensating control that cannot be verified is not a mitigation. It’s an assumption. At human scale, incorrect assumptions create inefficiency. At machine scale, they create risk. Whether decisions are made by analysts, automation platforms or AI agents, the underlying truth about security control health must remain consistent, accurate and continuously validated. Our vision is to provide a trusted source of truth for security controls that makes those systems reliable, effective and safe to operate.”
Colt Blackmore, Co-Founder and CTO of Reach Security
“AI is rapidly becoming one of the largest areas of technology investment, but its effectiveness depends entirely on the quality of the data and systems it can trust. Reach is creating a trusted source of truth for security controls, giving organizations the confidence to deploy AI-driven security workflows at scale. We see this as a critical layer in the emerging AI security stack.”
