NAVER D2SF-backed RebuilderAI has secured KRW 4.5 billion in new capital through a Pre-Series A funding round that adds ASICS Ventures, Medici Investment, IBK Capital, and Korea Credit Guarantee Fund to its investor base. The round marks a new stage of momentum for the Seoul-based company, which continues to gain global recognition for its 3D modeling AI technology after receiving a CES Innovation Award and being named a Top 100 Global Startup at the Entrepreneurship World Cup 2025.
The company’s core technology automatically converts 2D images into detailed 3D data. Its first commercial solution, VRIN 3D, enabled users to create high-quality 3D content by scanning products with a smartphone.
This year, RebuilderAI introduced VRING:ON, an integrated platform that generates 3D models, manufacturing patterns, and CAD data from simple sketches while incorporating current design trends. The platform won the CES 2026 Innovation Award in both Fashion Tech and AI for its ability to bridge digital design and physical production.
RebuilderAI has also built an agent-based AI design system capable of producing precise parametric 3D data for footwear design and sole structure simulation. Its capacity to tailor output to specific materials and manufacturing methods attracted ASICS Ventures, which invested in the round and signed a software licensing agreement with the company. RebuilderAI’s international pipeline is expanding, including an AI technology partnership in Saudi Arabia for furniture design and manufacturing processes and a USD 1 million customization and licensing deal with an ODM factory in Hong Kong.
The company continues pursuing growth across industries that rely on 3D design, connecting AI-generated models to real-world production environments. It is collaborating with KAIST, Dankook University, and Jeonbuk National University through joint industry-academia research projects, contributing to advancements in production systems that combine 3D printing and robotic textile spraying. NAVER D2SF, which invested in RebuilderAI shortly after its founding, continues to maintain support as the startup expands globally.
