Redwire Corporation announced it secured a $15 million follow-on order from the 1st Aviation Brigade, U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE), for its Stalker uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) to support advanced individual training. The latest award marks the third order Redwire has received from the 1st Aviation Brigade, AVCOE over the past eight months, bringing the total value of recent orders to $24.8 million.

Under the agreement, the Stalker systems will be delivered to the 2nd Battalion, 13th Aviation Regiment at Fort Huachuca for advanced individual training of the Army’s 15-series Military Occupational Specialty Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System Specialists. The MOS combines operator and maintainer functions with a focus on reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition missions directly supporting ground forces.

Redwire said the Stalker platform is designed with a Modular Open Systems Approach, enabling rapid payload swaps and technical upgrades while lowering lifecycle costs and improving interoperability. The company added that the Army’s selection of the platform demonstrates confidence in the system’s current and future operational capabilities.

The company noted that its Stalker training programs are built around operational lessons learned from hundreds of thousands of flight hours across six continents, along with real-world mission experience supporting the U.S. Army and allied defense programs globally.

Steve Adlich, President of Redwire Defense Tech, said the Stalker platform was designed to meet multiple mission requirements and strengthen the Army’s ability to identify and track threats across a range of operational environments.

Adlich added that Redwire’s focus is on operator independence through flexible systems and hands-on training designed around real-world mission scenarios.

Redwire said it also provides UAS training programs for U.S. Department of Defense, federal civilian agencies, Five Eyes partners, NATO, and allied customers worldwide. The company specializes in uncrewed aircraft, advanced optics, and resilient energy solutions for government and civilian operations.
