REGENT Craft has raised $240 million in Series B financing to move its Seaglider platform into full-scale manufacturing.

The round consists of an equal mix of equity and debt and was co-led by Mare Liberum and AE Ventures, with Erebor Bank providing the debt capital. The financing brings REGENT’s total capital raised to approximately $340 million.

REGENT recently completed a 255,000-square-foot Seaglider manufacturing facility in Rhode Island and is preparing for the first human flight of its Viceroy prototype.

The company is also seeing increased military demand, including an expanded $15 million U.S. Marine Corps contract for Viceroy and growing interest in its autonomous Squire platform.

REGENT said its commercial order book now spans six continents and represents multiple years of manufacturing capacity.

Seagliders are high-speed wing-in-ground-effect vessels designed to combine aircraft-like speed with boat-like operations over water.

The company plans to use the financing to scale manufacturing, advance certification and begin deliveries.

Existing investors participating include Founders Fund, Caffeinated Capital, Lockheed Martin Ventures, Japan Airlines and Giant Step Capital.
