Relation Insurance Services announced it has acquired the assets of Crop Rx Insurance Services. The transaction became effective on March 31, 2026, and financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2014, Crop Rx specializes in providing federal crop insurance to growers throughout California. The company is based in Fresno and brings additional crop insurance expertise to Relation Insurance Services’s existing agricultural insurance operations.
Tim Hall, chief executive officer of Relation, said the acquisition strengthens the company’s crop insurance capabilities across California and adds a team with specialized industry expertise.
Michael Klepper, chief executive officer of Crop Rx, said joining Relation was a natural fit because of the company’s longstanding history serving California growers and its leadership position in the agricultural insurance market.
Relation Insurance Services is an insurance brokerage focused on risk management and employee benefits consulting services across the United States. The company has approximately 1,350 employees across more than 90 locations nationwide and is backed by Aquiline Capital Partners.
