Rematch: AI-Powered Youth Sports Highlights Platform Tops One Billion Views

By Amit Chowdhry • Feb 6, 2026

Rematch, an AI-powered sports highlights platform focused on youth and emerging sports, said it has surpassed one billion views globally across its platforms, pointing to accelerating adoption in France and the U.S. The company framed the milestone as evidence of a growing community of clubs, parents, volunteers, athletes, coaches, and fans using Rematch to capture and share game moments at scale.

The company said its roots trace back to early beta testers filming matches near Bordeaux, France, and that usage has since expanded into a weekly routine for tens of thousands of participants across France and the United States. Rematch said weekends now generate millions of shared moments, spanning touchdowns, goals, baskets, tries, tackles, blocks, and misses, powered by instant highlight capture and frictionless sharing.

Rematch’s leadership emphasized that the billion-view mark reflects community participation rather than a company-only achievement. Pierre Husson, co-founder and CEO of Rematch Global, credited parents, volunteers, coaches, and fans for recording and distributing the clips that drove the total, and said the company is now aiming for its next billion views.

In the U.S., Rematch said it is seeing continued momentum, with Hanna Howard, CEO of Rematch U.S., calling the milestone both an opportunity and a responsibility to help youth and emerging sports share their stories at scale. Rematch U.S., which recently marked its first anniversary, said it expanded in its first year to support soccer, basketball, volleyball, football (tackle and flag), rugby, and futsal, with additional sports planned to launch later this year.

The company also announced new U.S. partnerships with Reign Rugby Academy and Girls Soccer Network, which it said are designed to broaden distribution, deepen engagement, and increase visibility for athletes and organizations by expanding access to its AI-powered highlight-sharing tools.

Rematch said its Rematch Premium app is available on iOS and Android for $4.99 per month and includes a seven-day free trial.

KEY QUOTES:

“This billion views milestone doesn’t belong to Rematch as a company, it belongs to the community. Behind this number are millions of moments captured by parents, volunteers, coaches, and fans who believe every athlete and every game deserves visibility. What started with a few matches filmed by early users has become a reflex for tens of thousands of people every weekend. This billion is theirs, and now we’re going for the next one.”

Pierre Husson, Co-Founder And CEO, Rematch Global

“Surpassing one billion views globally is an incredible milestone, but what matters most is what it represents. It reflects the passion of families, athletes, and communities who are choosing to capture and share these moments. In the U.S., we see this as both a responsibility and an opportunity to help youth and emerging sports share their stories at scale.”
