Remepy Raises $36 Million Series A, Bringing Total Funding To $62 Million As Parkinson’s Hybrid Drug Heads Toward Phase III

Remepy has raised $36 million in Series A financing to advance its pipeline of Hybrid Drugs, including global Phase III development of Hybridopa for Parkinson’s disease, bringing the company’s total capital raised to $62 million. The round was led by O.G. Venture Partners and M Ventures, the corporate strategic venture arm of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.

Existing and new investors participating in the financing included NFX, Vine Ventures, Qumra Capital, TechAviv, 97212 Ventures, Fresh Fund, PsyMed Ventures, Tadmor Group, Key1 Capital and IT-Farm Corp.

Remepy plans to use the capital to expand its pharmaceutical co-development partnerships, grow its Hybrid Drug platform and pipeline, and support global Phase III development of Hybridopa.

The Phase III program is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Remepy describes Hybrid Drugs as a new treatment category combining prescription medicines with personalized, AI-driven therapeutic applications.

The company’s approach integrates pharmacological treatment with adaptive physical, cognitive and behavioral interventions delivered through software.

Remepy is seeking to make those combined interventions available through a conventional prescription model.

The platform is also designed as a development tool for pharmaceutical companies, potentially allowing drugmakers to create additional intellectual property, support lifecycle management and differentiate therapies through accompanying personalized software.

Remepy recently established a strategic collaboration with Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, to develop Hybrid Drugs across multiple indications, beginning with rare tumors.

Hybridopa is Remepy’s lead internal program.

The investigational Parkinson’s treatment combines pharmacological therapy with Remepy’s software-driven therapeutic approach.

Remepy said Phase IIa testing produced encouraging results involving both motor and non-motor Parkinson’s symptoms.

The company is now preparing for a global Phase III program expected to begin in Q4 2026.

Hybridopa remains investigational and has not been approved by the FDA.

Remepy believes emerging regulatory frameworks covering drug-software combination products could support broader development of its Hybrid Drug approach.

The company’s longer-term strategy involves partnering with pharmaceutical companies across multiple disease areas while continuing to develop proprietary programs.
