Remote, a global employment operating system, announced the acquisition of Bravas, a French software company specializing in identity and device management. The deal strengthens Remote’s platform by integrating identity and device management capabilities, advancing its goal of providing a single system to manage the entire employee lifecycle for globally distributed teams.
The acquisition addresses a longstanding challenge for international companies, where managing global teams often requires multiple tools, vendors, and localized IT expertise. By incorporating Bravas’ technology, Remote aims to streamline operations by combining employment, payroll, compliance, and IT management into one unified platform.
Bravas’ software enables organizations to manage identity and device access seamlessly, making IT processes largely invisible to employees while automating administration for IT teams. The platform is designed with built-in data security and compliance, which will now be extended across Remote’s global infrastructure.
Remote indicated that integrating Bravas will provide customers with a stronger foundation for managing employees from onboarding through offboarding within a single system. At the same time, Bravas customers are expected to benefit from faster product innovation and enterprise-scale infrastructure.
The acquisition also reflects broader shifts in workforce management, particularly as AI agents and automated workflows become more prevalent. Remote emphasized that identity management will play an increasingly critical role in controlling access and maintaining security in this evolving environment. Bravas’ use of open standards is intended to ensure compatibility with future developments in identity systems.
This marks Remote’s third acquisition focused on expanding its employee lifecycle capabilities. The company previously acquired Easop for equity incentive management and Atlas for global spend management, reinforcing its strategy to consolidate key operational tools into a unified platform for global teams.
Remote, founded in 2019, provides services that enable companies to hire, manage, and pay employees worldwide while ensuring compliance with local regulations. Bravas, founded in 2021, focuses on simplifying IT management by unifying identity and device control into a single solution.

The team at Bravas has built device and identity technology that meets the demands of international teams today while also being ready for what comes next. Our vision has always been that Remote is the single system that makes global teams work. Bravas brings us closer to that.”
