Render Networks announced A$20 million in private equity growth funding alongside the acquisition of mPower Innovations, expanding its platform to support both telecommunications and electric infrastructure.
The funding, provided by existing shareholders and advised by Black Kite Partners, marks a strategic step in Render’s evolution into a full lifecycle system of execution spanning design, deployment, operations, and asset management.
The combined platform enables operators to manage infrastructure investments across telecom and electric sectors with greater precision, visibility, and auditability. The move comes amid a surge in global infrastructure spending, driven by AI data center expansion, fiber broadband deployment, renewable energy transitions, and grid modernization, with the electric sector alone projected to see a $1.4 trillion investment cycle through 2030.
The acquisition of mPower Innovations adds capabilities across asset management, outage management, analytics, and geospatial data, allowing Render Networks to deliver a unified execution system grounded in real-time field data. mPower’s leadership team, including Jason Brown and Greg Calcari, will join Render in senior roles.
Render Networks is also advancing its AI-driven technology strategy, including integration with Esri’s ArcGIS platform to unify geospatial data across infrastructure workflows, and development of its ClearWay agentic AI architecture built on Databricks to enable real-time validation and automation of infrastructure operations.
The company said its expanded platform is designed to help infrastructure operators deploy capital more efficiently, reduce execution risk, and accelerate time to revenue across complex, interdependent projects.
