Rensa Filtration, a manufacturer and distributor of air filtration solutions and a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, announced that it has acquired Air Filters Northwest and AFNW Services, expanding its footprint in distribution and service capabilities across the United States.
Founded more than 30 years ago and headquartered in Portland, Oregon, AFNW provides air filter distribution and service solutions for critical environments, including healthcare facilities, semiconductor manufacturing, and data centers. The company has built a multi-location presence with service teams offering installation, testing, and recycling support.
The acquisition represents Rensa’s tenth add-on transaction since Audax invested in the company in 2022. Over the past year, Rensa has organized its North American operations into two divisions: manufacturing and distribution, strengthening its vertically integrated model spanning filter media, production, and on-site services.
Rensa said the deal enhances its ability to expand local distribution, improve service offerings, and leverage its proprietary filtration technologies, including synthetic media and advanced pleating systems.
Audax highlighted that the acquisition aligns with its Buy & Build strategy, focused on scaling middle-market platforms through targeted acquisitions and operational integration.
