Replit, a leading platform for agentic AI software creation, has secured $250 million in Series C funding, tripling its valuation to $3 billion. The round was led by Prysm Capital and included strategic investments from Amex Ventures and Google’s AI Futures Fund, with continued support from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Coatue, Y Combinator, Craft, and Paul Graham.
This funding follows a year of explosive growth for Replit, with annualized revenue surging from $2.8 million to $150 million. The platform now serves over 40 million users globally, including enterprise teams at Zillow, Duolingo, and Coinbase. Replit’s mission to make software creation accessible to everyone has gained traction across industries, enabling users to build applications using natural language and intuitive workflows.
Along with the funding, Replit introduced Agent 3, its most advanced autonomous agent to date. Unlike earlier versions, Agent 3 can operate for up to 200 minutes, test and fix code, and build custom agents and workflows that automate complex tasks. It represents a shift from assistant-style tools to AI teammates capable of handling real development work with minimal oversight.
Agent 3 is designed to behave like a developer, equipped with a proprietary testing system that is three times faster and ten times more cost-efficient than traditional models. Users can watch the agent interact with their applications—clicking buttons, submitting forms, and validating APIs—to ensure everything functions as intended.
Replit’s products are now available through the Google Cloud Marketplace, expanding access to global customers and deepening integration with Google’s Gemini AI. The new capital will be used to scale operations, accelerate product development, and expand the company’s international presence.
