Republic Capital Group, an investment bank specializing in strategic and financial advisory services for wealth and asset management firms, announced the appointment of Lori Kamen as Chief Compliance Officer, according to an official press release.
Kamen brings nearly three decades of experience in broker-dealer and investment advisory compliance, adding deep regulatory expertise and executive leadership to the firm’s expanding platform. Her appointment reflects Republic’s continued focus on strengthening its compliance infrastructure as it scales its investment banking capabilities.
In her new role, Kamen will oversee the integration of compliance across the firm’s investment banking lifecycle, from engagement through closing. She will work closely with leadership and banking teams to ensure regulatory alignment, enhance risk management, and support disciplined execution across capital markets and advisory mandates. The firm emphasized that her leadership will help reinforce a culture of accountability, transparency, and client trust.
Kamen has held a variety of compliance and leadership roles across broker-dealers and registered investment advisors since 1997. Most recently, she served as president and chief compliance officer of a mid-sized retail broker-dealer, in addition to working as a compliance officer for an SEC-registered investment advisor. She holds multiple industry licenses, including Series 4, 7, 24, 53, 63, 66, 79, and 99.
