ReSpark announced that it completed its acquisition of UptimePM, a maintenance and facility management software platform built for heavy industrial operations. UptimePM is now a wholly owned part of ReSpark and will be rebranded as ReSpark Maintenance.
The acquisition expands ReSpark’s software platform for the metal recycling industry by adding equipment maintenance and facility management capabilities. ReSpark Maintenance will operate as a complementary product alongside the core ReSpark platform.
UptimePM helps operators manage work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and parts inventory. The platform is designed for industrial facilities where equipment downtime can create significant operating costs.
The deal builds on the strategic investment and partnership ReSpark and UptimePM announced in 2024. Since that original partnership, UptimePM has doubled both revenue and customer count, validating demand for purpose-built maintenance software across metal recycling and adjacent heavy industrial markets.
The acquisition follows the April 2026 combination of GreenSpark and ReMatter, which formed ReSpark. The company now serves more than 600 customers across more than 1,200 locations in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
ReSpark said the addition of UptimePM is a logical next step after the GreenSpark and ReMatter merger. The company is focused on consolidating the products metal recyclers rely on into a more complete operating platform.
With ReSpark Maintenance, recyclers will have a single partner for systems that support yard operations, from buying and selling material to keeping processing equipment online. The broader ReSpark platform spans buying, selling, inventory, logistics, compliance, AI-powered operating tools, and now maintenance and facility management.
ReSpark said UptimePM customers should expect continuity following the acquisition. Justin Trentadue, founder of UptimePM, will remain with the company for the foreseeable future to support a successful transition for customers.
