Revelation Partners, the largest secondaries investment manager focused exclusively on private healthcare, announced the appointment of Prashant Gangwal as partner and chief financial officer. The addition of Gangwal strengthens the firm’s leadership team as it continues to expand its position in the healthcare secondaries market.
Gangwal joins Revelation Partners from Altos Ventures, where he served as chief financial officer. During his tenure, he helped establish and scale the firm’s finance and internal operations infrastructure while supporting investments in early-stage through growth-stage technology companies.
Prior to Altos Ventures, Gangwal was chief financial officer, chief compliance officer, and a member of the founding team at NewView Capital. He played a key role in the firm’s launch in 2018 through one of the largest venture secondary buyout transactions of its kind at the time, gaining extensive experience in secondary transactions, fund formation, and institutional investment operations.
Gangwal also held finance leadership positions at SharesPost and the SharesPost 100 Fund (PRIVX), where he worked on private company share transactions and liquidity solutions for investors and founders. Earlier in his career, he spent many years at Deloitte & Touche LLP, advising asset management, banking, and financial services clients on audit, regulatory, and operational matters.
