RF Investment Partners announced it has partnered with Prairie Capital to support the recapitalization of NSG Life Safety and Norel Service Company, which together operate as NSG-Norel, a provider of fire, life safety, and security solutions across New England.
The transaction provides flexible capital solutions to help position NSG-Norel for its next phase of growth. The combined platform delivers end-to-end fire and life safety services, including system design and integration, inspection, monitoring, maintenance, repair, and certification.
Norel Service Company, founded in 1973, focuses on highly recurring fire and life safety services such as mandatory testing, inspection, and certification, along with monitoring and system repairs and replacements. NSG Life Safety, founded in 2017, specializes in fire alarm and security system integration, offering in-house engineering, design, and programming capabilities.
Together, NSG-Norel serves a broad range of mission-critical end markets including healthcare, education, government, industrial, commercial, and residential sectors. Headquartered in Massachusetts, the company operates as a scaled, one-stop partner for safety and compliance needs throughout New England.
The partnership with Prairie Capital and RF Investment Partners is expected to support continued investment in people, technology, new service lines, and geographic expansion.
RF Investment Partners is a lower-middle-market private capital firm that provides flexible equity and debt capital solutions primarily to family- and founder-owned businesses. The firm manages approximately $700 million and invests across sectors including software, healthcare services, and business services.
