Riley AI: $3 Million (Seed) Raised For Product Insights Platform

By Amit Chowdhry • Feb 4, 2025

Riley AI, an AI-based product insights assistant, has launched from stealth with $3 million in seed funding led by Vertex Ventures US, with participation from NextView Ventures, Hyphen Capital, and leading product angel investors. The company designed the platform with 500+ community members of user researchers, designers, and product managers.

Large businesses have been sitting on tremendous amounts of untapped potential hidden within their data. And teams across product, research, sales, and marketing collect customer insights through surveys, interviews, support tickets, and usage analytics. However, these insights often remain siloed, scattered across different tools and departments.

Without a unified way for analyzing and connecting data points, opportunities to discover new product ideas or refine strategies slip through the cracks. And this fragmented approach not only delays decision-making but also leaves companies vulnerable to competitors who can act faster on similar insights.

Riley AI breaks down data silos by automatically analyzing customer insights—surveys, interviews, and usage data—in one unified platform. Powered by machine learning and industry best practices, Riley offers actionable recommendations on what to build next, helping teams collaborate, prioritize with confidence, and execute faster. And by transforming scattered data into clear, metrics-driven strategies, Riley enables companies to innovate smarter and stay ahead of the competition.

Riley AI was co-founded by Claudia Natasia and Kevin Ma from their passion to help brands make data-driven product decisions. And the company was founded after Natasia previously led research, data science, and product teams across the Enterprise and Financial Technology space. Her product strategies led to multi-million dollars in revenue and a successful international acquisition.

Natasia partnered with Ma after working closely with him in a previous role, following his time at Hubspot where he oversaw attribution products. And Riley AI’s early product market fit, drew the backing of leading product executives as angel investors including Edith Harbaugh, Co-Founder of LaunchDarkly, Matt Doka, Co-Founder of Fivestars, Auzita Irani, Senior Research Manager at Google.
