Rinchem announced it is combining with Dupré Logistics in a deal that expands Rinchem’s specialty chemical and gas logistics platform with Dupré’s transportation, distribution, and capacity brokerage capabilities across the chemical supply chain. The companies said the combined organization will maintain each business’s headquarters, brands, and leadership teams, and financial terms were not disclosed.
Rinchem, headquartered in Albuquerque, operates specialty warehousing and logistics infrastructure for high-purity, pre-packaged chemicals and gases, including critical cold-chain capabilities. Dupré, headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana, brings a regional transportation footprint with a fleet of more than 550 trucks and 700 drivers, plus relationships with more than 16,000 preferred carriers nationwide. Rinchem said the combination broadens its “toolkit” for customers by pairing its distribution center network and chemical-handling expertise with Dupré’s downstream transportation and brokerage services.
Alongside the combination, Rinchem also announced a lender-supported refinancing and liquidity package that includes approximately $100 million of new money. Rinchem said a substantial majority of its lenders will invest about $100 million and exchange up to about $300 million of existing term loans into new term loans that extend maturities by two years to 2031. Rinchem also said all revolving lenders agreed to extend the maturity of the company’s $35 million revolving credit facility by more than three years to 2030, a move the company framed as strengthening liquidity and reducing near-term maturity pressure.
