RISR, a business owner engagement platform for financial advisors, announced an expanded relationship with Osaic, Inc., building on a collaboration that began in 2025. The expanded capabilities give Osaic’s more than 10,000 financial professionals access to specialized technology for business valuation, succession planning, exit strategies, and business risk management, allowing advisors to connect a client’s business wealth to their broader personal financial goals.
The expansion comes as research from the McKinsey Institute for Economic Mobility projects that an estimated 6 million small and midsize businesses will change hands by 2035 as owners retire, with more than 1 million of those businesses considered viable candidates for sale or employee ownership transition, representing approximately $5 trillion in enterprise value. RISR said its recently launched Document Summaries capability uses AI to analyze key planning documents, helping advisors identify risks and deliver guidance more efficiently than has traditionally been possible. Advisors within the Osaic network can access RISR directly through their existing Osaic relationship at preferred subscription pricing.
