Rithmik Solutions, a Montréal-based provider of OEM-agnostic AI-based performance analytics for mobile mining equipment, has secured a minority strategic investment from Hitachi Construction Machinery as part of its ongoing Series A round.
The deal deepens an expanding collaboration focused on accelerating next-generation smart mining by combining Rithmik’s real-time fleet intelligence with Hitachi Construction Machinery’s global footprint and digital transformation strategy.
Rithmik’s platform supports mixed fleets across all major mining equipment manufacturers, delivering high-resolution analytics designed to help operators improve productivity, reliability, and sustainability. Hitachi Construction Machinery said its customers increasingly expect open, site-wide digital solutions capable of supporting entire fleets regardless of brand. Both companies view this alignment as a competitive advantage for mines seeking interoperability and flexible deployment across complex operations.
The Series A financing includes participation from Chrysalix Venture Capital, Sprout Fund, Fonds Ecofuel, Phoenix Fire, and Developer Capital. The new capital will enable Rithmik to accelerate global expansion, enhance product development, and scale support for a growing customer base.
Rithmik’s technology unifies Operations and Maintenance around high-impact priorities by converting complex machine-level and fleet-level data into clear, actionable guidance. The company’s AI-powered analytics aim to detect issues earlier, prevent unplanned downtime, and deliver measurable improvements in performance, efficiency, and environmental impact.
