Riverview Landscapes announced that it acquired Kevin Labadini Corporation, a commercial landscaping and snow management provider headquartered in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
The acquisition is a tuck-in to Riverview’s Boston Metro West branch within its New England region. The deal also marks Riverview’s 26th acquisition since the company was founded in 2022.
Labadini Corp. has a long operating history in Massachusetts. The business was started in 1953 by Kevin Labadini’s grandfather, Phillip Labadini, and was later run by Kevin’s father, Robert, along with his brothers Ronald and Richard.
Kevin Labadini acquired the business in 1995. In recent years, he worked with key team members Lori Labadini Iagallo and Patrick Pereirra to shift the company from a landscape construction-focused business toward a recurring landscape maintenance model.
Riverview said Labadini Corp. fits its acquisition strategy because of its strong operator, loyal customer base, and clear plan for continued development. The company had been in contact with Kevin Labadini for more than two years before completing the transaction.
Labadini Corp.’s Shrewsbury facility will continue serving customers with support from Riverview’s Boston Metro West branch operations in Hudson, which is located about 20 minutes away.
Operations Manager Patrick Pereirra and Account Manager Lori Labadini Iagallo will remain with Riverview. Their continued involvement is expected to provide customer continuity and support the branch’s growth.
Riverview Landscapes provides landscaping and snow services to thousands of customers across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. The company has more than 800 employees and is backed by management and Talus Holdings.
