Rivian Automotive chief technology officer Michael Bell is stepping down from the company about 9 months after starting the job. On his LinkedIn profile, Bell wrote that he is retiring.
Bell still remains on the board of directors at iRobot and is a partner in HALL Wines.
Rivian Automotive hired Bell in June 2019. And he previously worked at Intel for five years overseeing the company’s mobile division. He also worked 3 years at Palm as the SVP of Product Development and oversaw the launch of the Palm Pre. Before that, Bell worked at Apple for about 16 years.
And Rivian Automotive Community Manager Amy Winters Mast told The Verge that Riviain appreciated Bell’s contribution at the company and wished him all the best.
